German club Werder Bremen have revealed their new home kit that they will wear throughout the majority of the 2010/11 Bundesliga campaign.

The team had a much improved 09/10 domestic season considering they finished 10th the year beforehand. A 61 point haul wasn’t enough to challenge for the title but it ensured that they ended up in third place which put them in the Champions League Play Off round for the 10/11 campaign. The club also managed to reach the final of the DFB Pokal Cup. However, they were thrashed 4-0 by Bayern Munich in the final.

The new Werder Bremen 2010/11 home kit contains a shirt with a light green bottom half and a dark green upper half and sleeves. The two colours are seperated by a thick jagged white horizontal stripe that runs across the middle of the body. Manufacturers Nike place their white “tick” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated opposite in the top left. Sponsors “Targobank” place their large white worded and picture logo across the middle of the shirt. Other details include white sleeve edges and a green round neck collar.
