Swindon Town new Home kit 09/10

League 1 club Swindon Town has officially unveiled their new Home kit for the upcoming 2009/10 season.

The club started the 2008/09 campaign terribly after losing five consecutive matches in a row at home. This led to Maurice Malpas being sacked in November with David Byrne taking over temporarily. In December, Danny Wilson took over permenantly and he guided Swindon to 15th place eventually although this was only four points above the relegation zone.

The new Swindon Town home kit contains a predominately red shirt with a white stripe that leads from the centre of the collar towards the left and down to the bottom of the shirt. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo towards the right shoulder whilst the three traditional white stripes run down the arms. The club badge sits just below the white stripe in the top left whilst sponsors “FourFourTwo” place their large white logo across the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with red shorts and socks that both contain various small white patches.
