Shrewsbury unveil 125th anniversary kit plan

League two club Shrewsbury have revealed plans for their 125th anniversary home kit that they will wear during the 2010/11 campaign.

It is unknown yet as to which division the club will be wearing the new outfit in as they are battling for promotion to League One. Manager Paul Simpson has overcome a below par start to lead the team up to 6th place in League Two. They will need to maintain their form to have any chance of reaching the top three automatic promotion places.

With the club approaching their 125th year of existence, Shrewsbury have decided to go back to their first ever recorded home kit which worn in 1888. This will involve a retro style blue shirt with white shorts and socks. The Shrewsbury board are still currently in discussions as to how the design will exactly look.
