Brazilian club Palmeiras has unveiled their new home kit that will be worn during the 2009/10 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.

The club had a successful season in Serie A with a 4th placed finish with qualified them for the Copa Libertadores competition which runs from January to July. Palmeiras are currently in the quarter finals of the competition and drew the home leg of the tie 1-1 against Nacional.

The new Palmeiras home kit contains a predominately dark green shirt with white piping down the sides and a white trim on the edge of the sleeves. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the green polo neck collar and their three traditional white stripes run half way down the shoulders. The club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt whilst sponsors “Samsung” run across the centre of the shirt in a large white typeface.
