Olympiakos will start the new Greek season with an upgraded home shirt. The torso is identical to the previous season's effort with the red and white vertical stripes leaving room for the Vodafone sponsor in the middle. However, the arms have changed with the stripes on the torso now carrying on rather than stopping. This looks a whole lot better than the messy patterns they tried to put in on last years shirt. Also the collar has changed to more of a V neck this year with a red lining round it. Overall, I'm a big fan of this home shirt and whilst it looks basic, simplicity is sometimes the way forward.
Olympiakos also start the new campaign with an upgraded away kit. Like the home shirt, this effort has the same design as the previous with a few additions and omissions. The main omission is that Kappa have got rid of the ugly red patterns around the arm which gave a messy effect. The biggest change is that the collar is a red V neck and has an inside lining which is white with a hint of red. Overall, a very good upgrade although there doesn't seem much point in buying it if you have the previous shirt due to the similarities.
Olympiakos have also released a 3rd kit for the upcoming season. It takes the same layout as the home and away kit with the sponsor, badge and logo in the same place. The shirt is almost fully red with a hint of silver on the shoulder. The plainness actually helps make the Vodafone sponsor stand out in the middle of the shirt. Overall, there isn't a lot to say about this. It's a fairly boring kit and not one which will really be remembered.
