Premier League club West Ham United has officially revealed their new home kit that will be worn during the upcoming 2009/10 campaign.

The club had a steady but unspectacular 2008/09 campaign under new manager Gianfranco Zola. The early part of the season looked as if West Ham would be in a relegation battle but they eased away from the bottom and were in a hunt for a Europa League spot until they faded away during the last couple of games.

The new West Ham United home kit, modelled by famous fan Ray Winstone, contains a predominately two toned claret shirt in a chequered pattern across the torso. There are also blue patches around the shoulder and on the edges of the sleeves. Manufacturers Umbro position their white logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is positioned in the top left. The collar is a claret and blue polo beck and sponsors “SBOBET” position a large logo across the centre of the shirt in a white typeface.
