Newcastle unveil home and away kits 10/11
Championship winners Newcastle United have revealed their new home and away kits that they will wear upon their return to the Premier League in the 2010/11 season.
The club had a successful 09/10 campaign which saw them ease to the top of the Championship. A few early disruptions and uncertainties about the manager’s future was not enough to stop Chris Hughton’s men from storming to the title with West Brom Albion the only real challengers. They will hope to avoid a season as disastrous as the one which saw them relegated to the second tier in the first place.

The new 2010/11 Newcastle United home kit contains a traditional shirt with numerous black and white vertical stripes running throughout the body and sleeves. The shoulders are mainly black whilst a thin white pinstripe runs down the sides of the shirt. Manufacturers Puma place their white ”cat” logo centrally below the black jagged V neck collar. The club badge is positioned in the top left and sponsors “Northern Rock” place a large white worded logo across the centre of the shirt inside a black rectangle.

The Newcastle United 2010/11 away kit contains a predominately blue shirt with a thin white horizontal pinstripe running across the sleeves. Manufacturers Puma place their white “cat” logo in the top right of the shirt and on both shoulders. The club badge is positioned in the top left and sponsors “Northern Rock” place a large white worded logo across the middle of the shirt.
