Portuguese club SL Benfica has revealed their home kit for the upcoming 2009/10 season.

The club managed to finished 3rd in the Portuguese Liga last season meaning they failed to qualify for the Champions League competition once again. However, the team will play in the UEFA Europa League after finishing below second for the 4th consequtive season.

The new Benfica kit contains a predominately red shirt with a white trim on the edges of the sleeves. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the white polo neck collar whilst the three traditional white stripes run half way down the shoulders. The club badge is positioned in the top left with three gold stars above it whilst sponsors “tmn” place their white logo inside a blue rectangle in the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with white shorts that have three red Adidas stripes run down the side and red socks.
