New Motherwell Away kit 09/10
Scottish Premier League club Motherwell FC has revealed their new away kit that they will wear during the 2009/10 SPL season.
The team had a fairly average 08/09 campaign with a 7th place finish that saw them comfortably away from the relegation zone but never challenging the upper regions of the league. However, they entered the qualifying rounds of the Europa League after being awarded a fair play place. The Scottish club navigated the first two qualifying rounds after overturning first leg deficits with large victories. However, they fell in the third qualifying round after losing 6-1 on aggregate to Steaua Bucherest.

The new Motherwell away kit contains a predominately maroon shirt with horizontal thin orange pinstripes running across the body. There are small orange patches of the shoulder whilst the front of the maroon polo neck collar contains an orange V. Manufacturers Canterbury place their white logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated in the top left. Sponsors “Jaxx” position their large white logo across the centre of the shirt.
