New Millwall 2010/11 anniversary home kit

League One Play Off winners Millwall FC have revealed their new 125th anniversary home kit that they will wear throughout the 2010/11 Championship campaign.

The team had a season to remember in 09/10 as they achieved promotion back to the Championship after four years in League One. Following the Play Off heartbreak of 08/09, the club needed to bounce back straight away to have a chance of going up. The latter part of the season saw them in a dual with Leeds United for the second automatic promotion spot. However, the final day of the campaign saw Millwall finish in 3rd position. A two legged victory over Huddersfield Town in the semi finals saw them meet Swindon Town at Wembley. A 1-0 victory ensured that Millwall would be playing their football at Championship level in 2010/11.

The new Millwall 2010/11 home kit contains a predominately navy blue shirt with a thin yellow pinstripe on the sides and a navy blue and yellow combined round neck collar. Manufacturers Macron position their white worded logo in the top right of the shirt and a white picture logo on both shoulders. The 125th anniversary white club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt whilst sponsors “CYC” place their large yellow worded logo inside white boxes across the centre of the body.
