New Middlesbrough goalkeeper kit 09/10

Championship club Middlesbrough FC has unveiled their new goalkeeper kit for the 2009/10 campaign. The club’s current number one goalkeeper is Ross Turnball but Brad Jones will be sure to push him all the way next season.

Middlesbrough suffered a terrible 2008/09 campaign which saw Gareth Southgate fail to fully replace the outgoing players before the season started. It resulted in the club falling towards the bottom of the league without them ever looking likely to climb out of the relegation zone. The club ended the season in 19th place but will hope to climb straight back to the Premiership on the first attempt.

The new Middlesbrough goalkeeper kit contains a predominately black shirt with two thin red pinstripes leading from the side of the collar down towards the underarm and ending up running down the side of the sleeves. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the black round neck collar whilst the three white traditional stripes run down the arms with an interception midway. The club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt whilst sponsors “Garmin Sat-Nav” place a large white logo across the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with black shorts and socks.
