Home Kit
French club RC Lens will be playing in a checkered home shirt this season. It is traditional for the club to be playing in such kits. The colours used will be orange and red, which are associated with the club. The shirts are designed by Nike, which made a great job once again of manufacturing the kits using the latest technology for the comfort of the players and fans. The shirt has a black touch on the collar and sleeves. The shirt has been compared by many fans to the Croatia home kit, using worse colours. However, others praise the checkered design for adding variety in an otherwise-unoriginal selection of teamwear.
Away Lens Kit
The away kit can be said to be more attractive for those who aren't keen on the all-checkered design. Although it still has a checkered part on the sides, in the same colours of the home shirt, it is less prominent and thus doesn't ruin the design. The main colour is white with a yellow trim, which mixes well with the checkered orange&red sides. Many football fans have deservedly praised Nike for the away kit design.
