Newly-promoted Hull City's home shirt for the 2008/09 season is in my opinion rather 'nice', you could say. It is made up of black and amber stripes, and is designed and manufactured by Umbro. The home shirt sponsor is once more Karoo. It is visually imposing and the white sponsor doesn't really look out of place like some coloured sponsors do on shirts. However, the Umbro logo does look like it has been placed too high.
However, I have contrasting opinions about the Tigers' away shirt. To me, navy and orange should never be seen together, but this is the case here. It is mainly navy, but with an orange trim around the sleeves, collar, and down the side of the shirt. This shirt is also sponsored by Kingston Communications, who also sponsor the stadium. Simply, I don't like it.
