Huddersfield Town 2010 charity kit
League One club Huddersfield Town recently wore a new yellow and red kit in their league match with Southend United to raise money for the “Keep It Up” campaign.
The “Keep It Up” campaign gained momentum in March 2009 after Huddersfield made their sponsors position available to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance foundation for the next three seasons. The aim was to help the charity reach the amount needed per day to keep running.
The event also created another milestone as it was the first ever Huddersfield game at home in which the hosts had failed to where blue.
Sean Jarvis, Huddersfield Commercial Director, said: “We have produced 500 shirts which will go on sale immediately after the game with all the money going to the Keep It Up campaign. None of our supporters knew that the team would be running out in this kit; all they knew is that they would need their sunglasses! It’s certainly bright and it’s a ‘love it or hate it’ colour scheme, but it’s all for a good cause and I am sure they will prove popular.”

The Huddersfield Town one off charity kit contains yellow and red vertical stripes that run throughout the body and sleeves. Manufacturers Mitre place their red logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated in the top left. Chairty sponsors “Yorkshire Air Ambulance” place their red worded logo inside a large white box which is positioned across the middle of the shirt.
