Ghana reveal official 2010 African Nations kit
African nation Ghana has now officially revealed their new home and away kits that they will be wearing throughout the 2010 African Cup of Nations tournament.
Ghana have ensured their qualification for the tournament to be hosted in Angola throughout the early months of 2010. They are guaranteed to finish top of their four team qualification group after winning their four opening group games. The country has won the African Nations on four occasions but the most recent time was in 1982. However, they managed a third place finish in the previous 2008 competition.
HOME

The new Ghana African Nations home kit contains a predominately white shirt with a white V neck collar and black patches around the edges of the sleeves. Manufacturers Puma place their black logo centrally below the collar whilst Puma place two more black logos on both shoulders. The national badge along with four stars, that represents their African Nations victories, is situated in the top left of the shirt. A large faint gold star is positioned at an angle in the top right of the shirt.
AWAY

The new Ghana African Nations away kit contains a shirt with red and yellow vertical stripes running throughout the body. However, the top right diagonal section of the shirt is completely red which continues into the sleeves. There are also thin green pinstripes that run vertically between every red and yellow stripe. Manufacturers Puma place their white logo centrally below the red round neck collar whilst Puma place two more white logos on both shoulders. The national badge is situated in the top left of the shirt with four white stars positioned below to represent their four African Nations triumphs.
