Everton kick off the new Premier League season in a new home strip which looks very similar to the previous. Like many other teams, Everton have only altered minor features on this kit making it not really worthwhile buying. The V neck is still there but instead the rim is all white now. Also there is a white pattern on either shoulder which is a nice little addition. In truth though, there isn't enough here to get excited about. Nevertheless, it is a nice shirt and worth a buy if you don't have the previous one.
Everton will also start the new season with a slightly changed away kit for the 2008/09 season. Once again the club goes with the predominately white colour with their sponsor Chang coloured green. Personally, I don't like the green colour as I don't feel it blends in with the rest of the shirt. A new addition to the shirt this season is a black and grey horizontal stripe near the top of the shirt which looks quite nice overlapping the Umbro sign and the club badge. Overall, this isn't the worst away shirt in the Premier League this season but it's not really one that you would rush out and buy either.
