Home Kit

The kits for this Italian Serie A side are manufactured by Italian sportswear manufacturers Lotto. Chievo were promoted to the Serie A after winning the 2007/08 Serie B. The club home shirt features the club's traditional colours: yellow and blue, which in Italian is translated as Gialloblu, with the club earning that nickname. The blue sleeves extending to the shoulders has a simple but yet eye-catching effect. The collar is blue to complement the sleeve design. An attractive idea by Lotto is the outline of Cangrande della Scala in blue on the main part and back of the shirt. Cangrande della Scala is an Italian nobleman from the city of Verona. Find more information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cangrande_I_della_Scala The name of the club, Chievo Verona, appears just below the back image of Cangrande della Scala, using a beautiful font type.

Away Chievo Verona Kit

The away shirt contrasts with the home kit as Lotto make use of much lighter colours. The colours used are white and light-blue, with the former being used for the sleeves. Unlike the home kit, the shoulders are the same colour of the body part of the shirt: light blue. Personally I feel that the badge used on the away shirt is out of place on the away shirt. The red colour doesn't match with the rest of the shirt, and neither do the Lotto badges on the sleeves. However, the enlarged emblem on the central part of the shirt is very interesting and diverts the attention from the mismatched colour of the badge.
