Ajax Home kit 2009/10

Dutch side Ajax has released their new home kit which they will wear during the 2009/10 campaign.

The club had a fairly disappointing season in the Dutch League with a 3rd place finish which only ensured qualification to the Europa League and not the Champions League. As a result, manager Marco Van Basten resigned leading to the club appointing Martin Jol as new manager for the 2009/10 season.

The new Ajax kit contains a shirt that is a combination of red and white. The central part of the shirt is red whilst the sleeves, sides and polo collar are white. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the collar whilst they place their three red stripes half way down the shoulders. The club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt whilst sponsors “Aegon” place their large white logo across the centre of the shirt.

this kit is lovely, i adore the design from umbro, it is just a shame that adidas haven’t came up with a nicer design earlier.
