2009/10 Sheffield United Away kit
Championship club Sheffield United has revealed their new away kit for the upcoming 2009/10 season as they beat Sheffield FC 4-3 in a friendly encounter.
The club showed strong form throughout the 2008/09 season but just missed out on securing promotion the Premier League. The first half of the season saw United in steady but not promotion winning form in the Championship. However, a great run towards the back end of the campaign saw the club rapidly close in on the top two before missing out on the automatic promotion spots on the last day. United managed to reach the play off final but were defeated 1-0 by Burnley.

The new Sheffield United away kit contains a predominately white shirt with a red patch down the entire left hand side. The sleeves are both mainly red and the collar is a red and white round neck. Manufacturers Macron position their black logo centrally below the collar whilst the club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt. Sponsors “VisitMalta.com” place a black logo across the middle of the shirt. The kit is completed with white shorts that contain a red stripe down the left and red and white hooped socks.
